ELKOLET always included Food within its Vision as it plays a intrinsic link woven through many aspects of the Charity's work. The Youth Today, Food Kits initiative is one part of this Vision.
Working closely with schools and families, we know that school holidays can be extremely testing for many families and with more people than ever before in recent times, needing extra support with food, ELKOLET'S Food Kits aims to make things just a little bit easier.
ELKOLET also found that the stigma associated with free meals can sometimes stop families in need from accessing food, and others might not necessarily qualify for government vouchers due to temporary hardships.
Working alongside our supporter schools & businesses, ELKOLET and Chef Craig aims to provide young people with a meal-a-day during holidays using high quality ingredients & easy to prepare meals which are nutritious.
